The Alfa Romeo 4C is not a sales success in any of the world markets where it has been marketed since it emerged in 2013. Although it is one of the most sportive models that the Italians presented in recent years and with which they intended to become a benchmark in the market American.Only 240 units were sold in the United States during the last year of 2018. In fact, although there is information that Alfa Romeo intends to breathe new life into the model, the truth is that for now it tries to risk some more sales in the United States , presenting at the Chicago Salon 2019 a special and exclusive edition called 4C Spider Italia, with only 15 units for sale.Manufacturer sources have confirmed that 4C Spider will be marketed in this market as a 2020 model, the only one in the brand offering since 4C Coupo sales were discontinued last year, so this special edition is really about a package of measures applied on the base model, the 4C Spider. The surname Italia adds a unique body painting that was not available until now. This is the ‘Misano Azul’ with a metallic finish that contrasts with the ‘Piano Black’ color of the air inlets of the front bumper, the radiator grille screen and the rear diffuser. The aluminum alloy wheels are 19 inches in diameter while retaining the attractive ‘five flowers’ design with a chrome finish. The interior retains all of its initial design, with only two seats, covered in leather with yellow stitching, carbon fiber and inserts of the same exterior color. The panel features aluminum applications and the engraved ‘4C Spider Italia’ logo, as well as a board in the center console with the number of the fabricated unit that reinforces the exclusivity. In addition to the standard equipment is the rear camera, cruise control and rear parking sensors. In mechanical terms, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia will be offered with the turbocharged and direct injected four-cylinder, 1.75 liter TBi petrol engine, delivering a maximum power output of 240 hp, the same engine as the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde . It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds.Pogea Racing, a well-known German coach specializing in Italian models, has just presented its latest version of the Alfa Romeo 4C. Named Zeus, this modified 4C is lighter and more powerful than the conventional model and this is clearly visible in performance. The Zeus 4C can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 304 km / h. We’re talking about a 1.1-second and 46-km / h improvement over the standard model, all thanks to a modified turbo, a new intercooler and airflow improvements from the 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that now delivers 351 hp of power and 458 Nm of torque. In addition to this increased power Pogea Racing also made the 4C much lighter. So after using a lot of carbon fiber, the German preparer has managed to save 100 pounds and ensures that with the fuel tank full, but without the sound system installed, the total weight of the Zeus is only 904 pounds. In addition, Pogea Racing has also installed a new steel exhaust system with carbon fiber tips, a KW suspension that reduces ground clearance by 50mm, ceramic brake discs and an extra intercooler for the engine and the transmission. As for the image, the new bumpers, the new side skirts, the huge rear diffuser, the front spoiler and an air intake in place of the rear window help to cool the centrally mounted engine.Only 10 copies of Zeus 4C will be manufactured and each processing starts at 50,100 euros. To this we must still add the price of the new Alpha 4C, which depending on the market costs around 70,000 euros. Find more details on best camaro car cover.
2019 – ALFA ROMEO STELVIO BY ROMEO FERRARIS
Specialist in Italian models, Romeo Ferraris prepares a proposal for improvement for all versions of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio line, for those customers who do not seem to have sufficient serial numbers, increasing performance and with some added details that reinforce their personality .With just over two years since it debuted at the Los Angeles 2016 Show, Alfa Romeo’s first SUV is positioned as an alternative to German equivalents in the competitive Premium D segment. But Stelvio’s sportsmanship can be improved with the accessories of the Italian coach, giving more prominence to the mechanical part than aesthetics. In terms of image, the Stelvio can powerfully draw attention, as did the old 159, with a special metallic paint that was part of the Alfa Romeo body color catalog. The proposal of Romeo Ferraris consists of a painting called ‘Avery Color Flow’ that, depending on the incidence of the sun’s rays, allows to vary between dark green, bronze and violet.Dynamically, it also improves on the road with a special package that retouches the trains of the preparation. Spacers on the axles place the wheels farther out of the body and acting on the steering response growing in agility, while the set of springs and shock absorbers give a greater capacity on the asphalt. But the most interesting is in the mechanical part, where it gains in power and torque thanks to a new ECU reprogramada, so that the 2.2 liter diesel versions of 180 and 210 hp gain 31 hp and 50 Nm in the case of lower power and 28 hp and 41 Nm of greater, while the gasoline line of 200 and 280 hp raises the performance with increases of 46 hp and 70 Nm in the first case and 33 hp and 58 Nm in the second. The offer comes complete with the Stelvio Quadrifoglio Verde, which adds an extra power of 46 hp to the 510 hp of the original model – and 60 Nm of torque – further enhancing the performance of the Italian sports car’s most sporty SUV.
